Very original. Looks just like the logo of Superman: The Ride but with a Vengeanza del Enigma tower in the background in stead of a roller coaster structure.
Where does Six Flags get their inspiration?! ;)

... and just like Knott's Supreme Scream, except with a Superman logo. The only different looking triple-tower I can think of is Maliboomer, but I can hardly see Disney going with anything that's been done (despite the overwhelming predictable nature of DCA, I think it's a given that everything still has a unique Disney feel).
That aside, I think that is a fabulous logo. Even though it seems like they haven't gone the lengths to get even a somewhat decent name (maybe it'll grown on you all, who knows), the artwork is certainly top notch.
EDIT: I think that it is better than the Ride of Steel logo, it was too cluttered, whereas this is a clean, bold and easy-to-remember one.

The logo is nice and "clean" looking, but I just can't get over the lack of creativity it took to come up with it's name and theme. CP has "Power Tower" and SF has "Superman-Tower of Power". They could have tried a little harder, IMHO.
Many chains reuse the same or similar name to save on marketing and merchandising costs. Cedar Fair used Power Tower for the S&S ride at Valleyfair, too. Where's your ire at them for not being creative and/or being lazy? Or is that strictly reserved for Six Flags?
Moosh - still doesn't understand why people give a crap about the name of the ride.

Amen, pastor Moosh!
By my calculations (ok, so actually Mapquest's), SFOT and CP are 1205.09 miles and 19 hours, 37 minutes away from each other. Tell me how the name makes a difference! Besides, you think of two completely different things when you hear either of the names.
Tisk, tisk...
Let the countdown begin...

Dan, I will be expecting an opening day report on S:ToP.

I *could* say that Busch doesn't do that...well, except four the "Fear the Four" stuff....but they haven't exactly gone overboard during this whole coaster-building boom over the past few years...
I know whenever I see a BBW or a Montu shirt EXACTLY where it came from. But does this make a difference to the park's bottom line...an interesting question...I *like* creativity and such, but is it PROFITABLE?

Okay, Norbert. I hope you're being sarcastic, or just being an ass to get some kind of revenge? I don't know. BTW, it's the logo, not a cartoon. The actual ride hasn't been built yet, so there's no need to get cranky over the damn logo.
The ride is looking pretty nice too. This really is one of the first highly themed power towers, correct? What originality. Superman's makin' a breakthrough with SF these days!

For those who haven't been to SFOT, now is as good a time as any to get down there. For my money it's the best in the SF chain, just a very well run park with a very cool selection of coasters and rides. Tower of Power is getting me really excited to get back next year.
It is a cool logo, original or not. I don't care, Superman is just cool. Every park should have a Superman ride, just get rid of Batman, he sucks! ;)

If CPNut is making all these accounts and the stupid posts, why doesn't one of the moderators match the IP addresses and ban all of them. I think that is incredibly immature of you, and this is coming from a 14 year old (almost 15).
