Untamed @ Canobie: What a rush!!!!

All right guys, I hate to brag, but on Saturday (6/11/11) I had a day that was the stuff of coaster junkie's dreams.

A brand-new kick-butt coaster on opening day, very light crowds, and my favorite park.

Oh yeah! For close to 6 hours I power-rode the thing. 60 times in a row!

Aside from the rain, it was very cool. Somewhere around lap 20 or 21, it started to feel Zen.

60 times in a row?!? No matter how much I like a coaster, I don't think I could do that. Didn't you become a little bored after a while?

I saw a POV of the ride and was not overly impressed. The ride seemed short even by eurofighter standards. What made it "kick-butt"?

Before you can be older and wiser you first have to be young and stupid.

I agree with Dave here. It looks short and a lot like other compact Eurofighters across the U.S.

When I think of rides that "kick butt", they tend to be something with more ...umm, Oomph, like Beast, or Magnum.

But, I respect your enthusiasm for Untamed, Hopman. I can't judge how kick-butt a ride is just by watching a POV of it on youTube. :)

I think 'kick butt' can also refer to having a kick butt time :) Maybe that's what Hopman was referring to. Eurofighters usually make me think 'kick head' or 'kick neck'; except for Dare Devil Dive ;)

DDD's restraints should be on every looper around, they are perfection.

It's like a new toy you get to play with on Christmas Day. No I wasnt bored. After about 20 or so laps, it had a Zen feeling to it. Besides, each of the 8 seats on the coaster give a slightly different feel to the ride.

LK,

To me it was kick-butt because it was unlike anything I have ever ridden, and even cooler was the fact that it's at my home park. Oh, belive me, the youtube vid DOES NOT do it justice!
