Universal Orlando will close down its Volcano Bay water park for the winter, the company announced Friday. The “seasonal closure” will begin Nov. 2 and end on or before March 1.

Great. Universal's water park is gonna be like the midwestern water parks, closing outside of the warmer months. Granted that they can reopen in March, let's hope they can survive and not end up like another Wet n' Wild story.

Dude. There's a pandemic. And they don't get much attendance in the winter months anyway. This is a wise cost cutting move to not staff a park for what would likely be very low projected attendance.
