universal trip

im going to universal orlando for 3 days. nov 27 28 29 what to expect? and whats the best rides. please tell me ty

Well, don't ride Hulk, Dueling Dragons, or any of the coasters, cause I hear they all suck. Definitly ride "Sylvester Monkey McBean's Flying Machines" thingy, I hear its fun to watch;).

Expect more people than normal. IAAPA isdown there now, so the parks will probably have to close due to all the people that will no doubt be going. Danny has a crystal ball(s) to tell you the exact number of people there. You probably won't have that great of a time, since the park will be more crowded than HHN, and most rides closed anyhow.

Until then, read some Trip Reports to see what the park is really like, and read the TOS, as no one knows what you can expect, since no one can fortell the future. Also, since we don't know your personal prefrences, we don't know what you'll like.

Oh, and before anybody else says anything, please use capitalization and correct grammar.[/sarcasm]

Danny's Crystal Ball says that there will be more people at IOA over that timeframe than at all the SF parks combined during that same period. You've been warned.

PS- Danny's Crystal Ball: Ultimate Sequel of Steel says that Clint probably had more fun making that post (even typing up the name of that damn kiddierail ride that doesn't work) than you will reading the rest of this thread.

I would hope that SFMM and SFOT would be able to at least match IOA's attendance...of course, hoping and what actually happens are 2 different things...If only it were 6 years ago, then there'd be more SF parks open.

The scariest thing about getting into CoasterBuzz is being roasted by two of the nicest guys you'll ever meet (Clint and I). Ask anyone we know.

Seriously though, if you find anything a Buzzer says to you offensive or rude, PM, IM, or e-mail them directly. If it's really bad or you don't understand why something was deleted or closed, take it up with a mod (Gonch, Greg, and Chitown are on often enough) or Jeff. It's hard to get tone of voice over the internet and some people either forget to add winks or they think most people should know their humor and how they talk. It could just be a joke where they're laughing with you and all in good clean fun. The dirty fun is usually just between the ones who *really* know how to take a joke. Yet some complain about that getting out of hand too when they're not even in the middle of it. Can't win them all.

If you're not following the TOS though, which you *agreed* to do when you signed up, I can't help you. As long as you don't continually do it, people aren't going to dislike you. Definitely don't take offense to someone simply *disagreeing* with you. That's something that baffles me the most.

Remind me why you thought about and then decided to delete your post? It was silly funny. I didn't truly laugh out loud (hahaha) or even giggle (LOL), but I did smile where I thought I was supposed to laugh (lol). Give me something to roll on the floor and laugh until there's no noise coming out and I cry (roffles!) and you get to be in a special club that meets on Thursdays in my basement. ;)

i dont know why i bother comming here most of u are rude. and think u are perfect. and u are not no one is. i just wanted some info. and thought thats what costerbuzz was for also but i guess too many rude people.

If you were to go on google and type in Islands of Adventures, you would get a number of sites with pictures and reviews. Also you can search this site for reviews by people who have been there.

As a rule of thumb, being offended by people on a roller coaster forum isn't exactly productive or good in any way. Drop the whole sensitivity thing, and just learn from this.
