Universal transitions to NBC control

Other than the stuffed NBC monkeys now available at Universal Orlando gift shops, there were few outward signs Thursday that the theme parks now belong to their fifth owner in 15 years. Employees say it's "business as usual."

When did NBC buy Universal? This is the first I've heard of this.

Too bad the author of the article didn't know that SpongeBob is a Viacom brand...not an NBC Universal property.

Eh... I'd prefer "Sarah Chalke's Scrubs Ride." To each his own, though.
