It's been over five years now since Nintendo first announced plans to collaborate with Universal Studios on a real-world theme park. Now, Universal has announced a February 4, 2021, opening for the Japanese edition of Super Nintendo World in Osaka and is showing off some of the attractions in detail for the first time.

so with the (assumed) demise of Epic Universe, is this now reverting to the studios park in Florida?
The communication is delay, not demise. They've got a lot invested in design and the land itself. I doubt they're going to abandon that.

Nintendo shared a much better teaser video this week. A tour of the park with Shigeru Miyamoto.
My favorite part is when he tells Mario and Luigi to move along because "Dad is busy".

So is the entrance pipe gonna be one way because damn, that pipe is narrow. Very cool video tour of the land. A friend of mine is over there working on the park and from what he has shown me its pretty damn awesome. I'm definitely excited to make a trip over once it is safe to do so.
