The owners of Universal Studios Japan, including Goldman Sachs Group Inc, are in talks to sell a stake in the theme park to Comcast Corp's NBCUniversal, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

What a crazy reversal from the days when Comcast first showed interest in NBCUniversal. Back then all the speculation was that they would divest the theme parks.

Yes it is. I surmise that management has finally seen the handwriting on the wall. Cable companies as we now know them will be a non existent in the near future, and this income stream looks a whole lot better to them than when they bought Universal.
