Universal Studios Florida previews its night time Cinematic Spectacular

From the Universal Orlando Web site:

Relive Universal Pictures' most beloved films during this multi-media nighttime show that projects legendary movie clips onto cutting-edge waterfall screens. Narrated by award-winning actor Morgan Freeman, the experience will take you on a journey through epic cinematic moments filled with heroes, horror, laughter, good, evil and triumph.

I've seen them testing the fireworks a few times the last two weeks (KC and Cyndi Lauper were amazing, btw), and for what the show is supposed to focus on, there's a fair amount of fireworks it seems. They're evidently of the air launch variety, similar to what Disneyland uses, as they make very little if any sound on firing, and are launched from Disaster, so the (potential) fallout has to be very minimal, as that's a very active backstage area.

The lagoon (finally!) has a purpose....very happy about that. Now we'll just need to stay late enough sometime to see the show.

Also forced to wonder if this means they might even try to utilize the lagoon in some fashion for the HHN festivities... :)
