Universal Studios Florida Hanna Barbera Ride Histo

Can anyone who has been to USF recently confirm that the Hanna Barbera simulator-type ride is completely gone? The website shows a Jimmy Neutron thing there now, is it the same ride with an updated storyline? There used to be a cool section after the ride where you could take photos in the Flintstones car, it's like a tradition for me. Is any H.B. stuff still there?

Thanks for the info, sorry it's not really coaster-oriented.

They have reprogramed the simulator with Jimmy Neutron & the current Nickelodeon cartoon characters - Hanna-Barbera is out.

That sucks. First the Hitchcock attraction, then King Kong, now the Hanna Barbera attraction. What next? Back to the Future? Those attractions are what brought me to the park in the first place. Oh well, it's called progress. They know a lot more about how their doing things, than I do. Hopefully J.N. will be fun.

Maggie, we're throwing you off the buzz for asking a *non-coaster* question...;)

I would have responded sooner, but I *never* did the H-B thing....and now I'm really bummed I didn't. I got a last spin on Kong, and a last shower with Hitch and Janet Leigh (hey, what can I say, it was a party), but missed H-B.

I CAN say that Jiminy Neutron (*my* name for the attraction) is a really good attraction...

Sounds like it went the way of Paramount. Nothing about the kids' areas of Paramount parks have anything to do with Hanna-Barbara anymore, with the exception of a couple ride names (Scooby Doo).

I think it's understandable, considering Hanna-Barbara is really not popular today, but I definitely miss it.
