Universal Orlando to Unleash NEW TV Commercials

According to the Orlando Sentinel, Universal Orlando will be employing a new line of of TV commercials this spring and summer. Included in these commericials will be such stars as Eddie Murphy, Emeril Lagasse, KISS, and of course, Spiderman. Universal's ultimate goal in these commericals will be to continue their ongoing theme of "We're not Disney." How long do you think it will be before Universal takes over Disney for the top spot in Central Florida?

They'll probably never overtake Disney as the #1 tourist attraction in Orlando, not even if they expand to four parks like WDW.

Disney is a park for a lot of ages. The younger kids would like Disney better and so would the older adults that are past the point they ride thrill rides. Now teenage kids would most likely pick IOA over Disney but in the end I think Disney targets a bigger crowd. Those two park complexes are fairly different in many ways.

I hope they put Hulk in there considering the new movie coming out. With the Jimmy Neutron and Shrek rides coming out soon and the new Hulk movie, Universal is really pumping themselves up right now.

What is up with KISS? That Gene Simmons guy would sell his mom a Kiss action figure at a markup if he could. All this band cares about nowadays is lame marketing ideas to try to con the old Kiss fans into giving them more money. I can't even understand how they end up in commercials, Super Bowl shows, ect. They must have a hell of a manager or Gene must be a real good con artist.

I liked Kiss a lot and even saw them in concert but what they are doing now is sickening.
