Universal Orlando will launch a new advertising campaign Sunday during the Super Bowl, with a 30-second TV spot that the resort promises will include an "unprecedented offer." Universal's senior vice president of marketing said the entire ad campaign will be more overtly emotional than previous campaigns, which the resort hopes will resonate, given the gloomy economic climate.

I am thinking it will be an offer to get more people in the park.fla resident pricing for everyone or free admission to one park with a multi day ticket from Disney(to try to get some of those guests Disney tries to keep on property for their entire stay) or possibly family pricing ie: get a family of 4 into the park for a reduced rate .They will reduce admission to get you in the park with the hope that the money not spent on admission will be spent on food, games, etc. in the park. with the economy going downhill they have room to offer deep discounts to keep headcount in the park.

P.S. They may also say 50% off all ticket and rooms at Universal for the next 3 months.
It's a good deal, but you'll have to buy tickets for anyone else in your party.

I figured it was during a certain time period, didn't know you had to hurry!
I thought the Universal ads were weak during the Superbowl, the ads they had a few years before I ever went really made an impact on me, these didn't really grab me.
I loved the people-work-too-much ads from a couple of years ago, because I think it's absolutely true. And these days, I think it's pretty obvious that busting your ass for The Man didn't do you a lot of good.
