We arrived at the Vistana Resort around 6:00, hit a LOT of traffic in Orlando...BTW, the rooms and the pools at this hotel are great, they have a water slide at one of the pools...we sat around the room all day, didn't go out anywhere.

First day at Universal Orlando
We got to the parking garage early, and we got in the park at 8:30 with our pass things (what are they called? ;)). We headed over to

Men In Black: Alien Attack - 4 out of 5

I loved this ride, we got to do it twice in a row with virtually no wait at all...much better than Buzz Lightyear and Scooby Doo @ Carowinds, which are similar rides. We won both times....but I am HORRIBLE at these things, I only got 17,000 points! I swear my gun was broken. :p

I can't really remember what we did next, but I think we waited around until BttF:tR opened, and we got in line, waited about 10 minutes again.

Back to the Future: The Ride - 3 out of 5

This was a great simulator for when it was made, but now its not spectacular. It was rougher than I thought, but still fun...my mother liked it, which suprised me.

Next we walked over to JAWS and there was about a 15 minute wait, I thought nobody wanted to ride this thing. ;)

JAWS - 2 out of 5

JAWS was ok, but it was WAY too short and ended too fast, and its horrible if you sit on the right hand side because the shark comes up on the other side.....

OK, I'm getting tired here (already) so I'm just gonna review the rides we went on. ;)

Earthquake -- The Big One - 3 out of 5

This was ok, the effects were nice, but besides that it was nothing ground-breaking IMO...I liked how they used people in the little shows though.

Kongfrontation - 3 out of 5

Ooh, I love the graffiti on the wall, they really managed to make this look like a New York City-type place. This was fun, about a 10 minute wait, and the huge monkey was scary. ;)

Twister....Ride it Out - 2 out of 5

Uh....somebody tell me why this is in the New York section? Seriously though, this was nothing special, all you did was stand there and watch cows fly by, and at the end they got your ankles wet. It may be fun for young kids, I don't know.

Woody Woodpecker's Nuthouse Coaster - 2 out of 5

Kiddie coaster, the only one in the Studios, and it was VERY short compared to the Unicorn, which I liked much better. Also, Woody going "hahahha, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha" is ANNOYING on the top of the lift.

E.T. Adventure - 3 out of 5

The plot doesn't really work here, one minute we're on Earth, the next minute we see a bunch of butt-ugly Aliens with big fingers. At least the bike seats were comfy, and there was only a 5 minute wait. Also, what is the point of them asking your name? I just lied and said "Pedro."

Terminator 2: 3D Battle Across Time - 4 out of 5

This 3D attraction is fun, you don't expect your seat to fall, even though it only falls an inch or so....and the live action is great too. 30 minute wait.

The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera - 3 out of 5

I could've sworn this is a kiddie ride, but it does move you around quite a bit, its a good time. 15 minute wait, not long at all.

Those are all the rides we did I think, they were fun, but I wanted to see the Wild Wild Wild West stunt show, how is it?

I'll do the two other parts...uh...later?
