Explore the wonders of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Ministry of Magic, one of five amazing worlds coming to Universal Epic Universe, opening 2025 at Universal Orlando Resort. Members of the park’s creative team guide you through the attractions and experiences you’ll encounter as you journey from the streets of 1920s wizarding Paris – where you’ll marvel as you catch glimpses of fantastic beasts – to the 1990s, where you’ll plunge into a thrilling new adventure at the British Ministry of Magic.
Not sure why people were getting their knickers in a bunch over the mix of the two Potter worlds. Looks pretty great to me, and that they're doing a theatrical show is very cool.

I am bothered by it in the same way that I am bothered by IOA no longer being a collection of themed islands. It's nit picky and I know it. It looks great though and I am super curious what the Ministry of Magic ride is going to be.
Independent of the IP this should still be interesting just from the perspective of visiting more of the Wizarding World versions of major European cities. A magical/wizarding take on the France pavilion at Epcot would be a success onto itself for vibes alone.
"Thank the Phoneticians!"
Im not upset about the mixing…
just call the bloody land Wizarding World Paris, cause no other land at Epic or other theme park is named after its ride, its Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe, or Super Mario Land or Adventure Land!
I’m really excited, I was not aware the show was going to be such a huge affair. As for the ride, the stuff I had read had me super hyped and the announcement confirmed this is going to be something special. It also all by confirmed the vehicles are updated Scoops. Should be one hell of a ride, the one thing I was really surprised at was putting the trio front and center, I thought all but Rupert had sworn off doing any more Potter related work, it sounds like they agreed to come back as their characters as adults.

Interesting that they are doubling down on the Fantastic Beasts IP. Those films it seemed like nobody loved.
My son, who is of the Potter generation and avidly read the books and awaited the movies, said he is curious if this franchise is worth the investment in the manner that Star Wars has worked out for Disney. While not equal, I did think Potter had staying power...but when he tells me that, having been a wand-wielding, butter beer-guzzling fanboy, it does make me wonder if he is right.

I’m a Universal AP holder, I go a lot. To this day the rides with the longest waits, shops with the highest visitstion and sales and most popular in park restaurants are the Potter ones, I’ve seen no drop off yet.

yea. I wondered that myself. But Potter has been around for approx 27 years now. Books + films.
So that would equate to about 2004 in Star Wars years. and Star Wars was only about 6 films in at that point.
