Poseidon’s Fury reopened to guests Monday just in time for the spring break rush. The immersive experience has been closed since last August and has been undergoing a refurbishment that included painting to the outside theming and show building.

I like this attraction. It had me completely fooled the first time I went in. It’s one of the stupid things I do every time I go.

What's really interesting here is that the attraction wasn't changed much at all.

Does anyone have any video or photos of the trick where the room moves? I've been told how it works, but it's just so unbelievable to me. I would have loved to be in that room when the lights were on. I'd love to see it in action.

I think this attraction is symbolic of what's possible when you don't have all the fancy IP. I adored this when I first saw it in 2002. The stunt show next door was also pretty great.

Also a plus it isn’t loaded with screens. Plus it’s nice and cold in there.

Yeah, I always enjoyed this attraction as well.

Unfortunately, it was closed when we went last year, so the kids couldn't experience it.

Is the water tunnel back?

[Edit: It turns out the water tunnel was only off for a while and has been back for years now? Geeze, I need to get out more.]

[Edit 2: I can't express enough how much I love this show. Probably my favorite show in Orlando. I just watched a video of the attraction from 2020 and the effects seem to hold up really well aside from the animations on screen in the temple. I really hope those got updated.]

Me as well. The first time I went, I actually blurted out in the room "what the hell just happened" and everyone laughed. I'm glad it's back.

Fever I really enjoy the Simpsons. It's just a shame that I am starting to LOOK like Homer.
