Universal Orlando outlines TapuTapu wearable benefits at Volcano Bay

From the blog post:

The TapuTapu wearable is one of the many things that will make Volcano Bay unlike any other water park in the world. It was designed to enhance fun and remove hassles.

No more standing in long lines to experience an attraction.
No more carrying wallets, cash or credit cards around the park.
No more fumbling for a locker key.

Two thoughts: First, eliminating waiting around in long lines for low-capacity water rides.

Second (an idea from Schlitterbahn 20 years ago - "SplashCash"): Make it EASY for patrons to spend...

Universal is *crushing* it with this waterpark...now if only the drivers on I-4 can stop rubbernecking...

You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)

Hey, that was me!
We drove through the area one afternoon from Disney to the Pulse nightclub memorial, and I said "HOLY CRAP look at that volcano!" I knew it was coming, but for some reason I didn't think it would be that imposing or that close to I-4. Master Potter's alma mater has really taken a back seat on the skyline with that thing.

I wish I liked water parks more, that place seems awesome and the features seem like a definite plus.

You've been able to do folio accounts at Aquatica for years as well, using cheap and inexpensive bar code wristbands.
