Universal Orlando follows Disney's price increases

Ticket prices at Universal Orlando went up today for the third time this year to $59.75, a 9 percent increase over the old price. Disney made a similar move two weeks ago. Multi-day tickets for Universal are still considerably less expensive than their Disney counterparts.

You'd think that staying a buck or two lower would offer some competitive advantage, but I guess when you're wrapping up a year with a huge jump in attendance, it's crazy not to match the increase.

Universal is under the impression that charging less than Disney will give people the idea that the park is not as good as Disney.( I like Universal over Disney)

Of course Universal's AP is still 1/2 the price of Disney's I know someone will say "Disney has more parks" But 1516 bucks for 4 passes is pretty steep.
