Last year was an incredible time for Universal CityWalk, with eight new venues joining the impressive dining line-up—and we’re not done yet! I’m happy to announce the newest MVP coming to CityWalk: the first-ever NBC Sports Grill & Brew, opening this fall.
This new restaurant represents our vision of delivering the ultimate sports dining experience. It’s like crossing your favorite sports restaurant with stadium VIP suites. Fans of all types will be able to enjoy the very best food alongside award-winning NBC Sports coverage. And with nearly 100 HD TV screens throughout the restaurant, every seat is the best seat in the house.

Understanding that the food and service can be generally be bland and average, I'm a pretty big fan of these immersive themed restaurant concepts. Rainforest Cafe, T-Rex, Margaritavile, Hard Rock etc.; I always seems to have a decent and fun experience at these types of joints, culinary awards aside. Hopefully I'll have the chance to check this place out sometime soon.
Believe it or not, the food at NBC City across the water from there is really, really good. At least, it was on my last few visits ending in 2011. NASCAR Cafe was just completely terrible, and Hard Rock is unremarkable. Margaritaville is... who am I kidding, I go there for the margaritas.
