Universal gives sneak peek for The Mummy

Universal Studios Florida unwrapped its long-awaited Revenge of the Mummy attraction on Monday, giving a few visitors a sneak peek at the theme park's latest high-tech thrill ride. The ride is not finished yet, but technical rehearsal previews are being offered until the official grand opening, May 21.

Whoa, a soft opening 2 months before it opens! I wish I was down there now. :)

Don't forget, too, that just being at the park doesn't mean you get to ride something that's being soft opened.
Like the time I waited twice for 2+ hours to ride Test Track and never did.

Does anyone know if Universal will keep doing these soft openings right up till its offical opening cause I will be in Florida from April 29th to May 7th and would love to get a ride on this if possible.

I know Universal are normally good for this sort of thing, Hence the soft openings for IOA before that offically opened, but I want to make sure. At least this is promising news because I knew it would be touch and go for my visit and I cant change the date I go either so I'm hoping for a few rides at least.

There's no way of knowing. It's a day to day kind of thing. They're not obligated to open it at all on any given day. If a project manager says it'll be closed all day so they can paint the floor, that's what they'll do.

The ride will be closing after april 18 to finish the rest of the effects and will officially open around the end of May.
