I wasn't even sure that I was going to post this, but I ended up doing so just because it's on the heels of a fairly recent increase. These used to only come once a year.
These Florida parks just keep matching each other's price and pretend it is a result of operating costs. The ticket prices have gone up much higher than the rate of inflation or just about anything else in the last several years. How long can they keep this up before it begins to hurt them? So far I have been able to balance the inflated ticket price at WDW by staying at cheaper hotels off-property when I would prefer to stay on property, so it is hurting them already in some ways. It's also cheaper for me to fly to Disneyland and by a five day ticket there than to do the same at WDW, and I enjoy DL more. I think this price battle will haunt them down the road.
Damn Thats a lotta Money Thank Goodness I only go to USF and IOA every 5years!
