As long as you think I'm just posting to indicate I'm "open-minded and liberal" there's little point in conversing with you. I honestly don't care what you think.
Do I think it's the reason you responded the way you did? No. But I'm not dismissing the possibility it's one of the reasons. I like your way of dodging the fact that I make some good points. After all, the best way to avoid acknowledging you might be wrong is to take the Fifth. Funny that only now- after I provided you with a link that backs up my comment on the history of holy wars in the Middle East region- do you suddenly not care what I think. Your frequent responses seemed to indicate otherwise, leading me to wonder how you would have responded had you cared in the first place.

Anyway, this isn't the first time I've heard about a theme park planned for Dubai. Does this Universal park have anything to do with the Dubailand resort complex that has made headlines before, or are they entirely separate things?

I wonder how long it will be before Disney turns its eye to Dubai... if they haven't already?

What, exactly, are you two arguing about?
Not sure anymore ;)

I think this news story about Universal had a misdirected link to CNN Crossfire..
I think Dubai can build anything. The indoor ski resort they built looks awesome. (saw it on a FUEL tv episode of FirstHand.
I saw that on the Today Show last week (one of those "Where the hell is Matt Lauer?" things). I agree that Dubai is shaping up to be a pretty exciting place, although in defense of New Jersey, we're also getting an indoor ski slope ;)
