You mean you guys were just happy to have what you did and didn't spend your time worrying and complaining about what others had?

What the hell is wrong with you!?

"Spiel pay?" Wait a minute...I didn't get spiel pay. Now I'm starting to think I was screwed.

(On the flip side...I got "Jungle Groupies" so maybe I still made out better.)

They called it spiel pay but I actually think it was because we were driving the vehicles around the animals, since none of the other spiel attractions got it. Call it multitasking pay I guess.

The safari driver thing was a great just got out of college gig when I was in my early 20s. I worked my way up a bit in the company in the years that followed and realized the lifestyle just wasn't for me. I am glad to no longer be with the company and now have a much healthier work-life balance in my current job, but I definitely had some good times while I was there.

I was just taking a snarky sidetrack with the discussion based on Gator's "wink wink" post.

Oh, did I wink? Maybe it was just a slow blink?

The key term in favor of the upgrade in classification and pay is "unions." Discussing free market economics as though it were interchangeable with the economic realities of the world is ludicrous. Get represented or get.........hmmm, COPPA and all.....taken advantage of. Yeah, that's the term....
