...as in, the chain dog has to be stationary in order to be "locked" within the rungs of the lift chain. The anti-rollbacks are the ones that have move back and forth.

I had made a whole post last night and it was descriptive of what B&M trains look like underneath. Where did it go!?
The B&M trains look much like any other train underneath. That Nitro pic is pretty good for looking underneath. There is just one large hollow spine that is articulated with the tains that is what a brake fin is on an Arrow train. That is why their brakes are so large. The anti-rollback dog and the chain dog are located on every other car starting with the first. The chain-dog (aka what the chain is latched on too to pull it up the lift) is in the very center since you can see that the chain is in the very center. Their anti-rollbacks on the lift are located either to the left or right of the chain only an inch or two away. Therefore the anti-rollback dog is located just to the left or right of the chain dog. The chain dog never moves however the anti-rollback one does.
Their anti-rollback dog is padded as you can see in the Nitro pic. That is why their lifts are silent. It does wear off though with time. I think their design of track makes their cars look good because it hides all the stuff you dont need to see like all of this. It makes a coaster just look better.
