I don't know about any of the other parks. I did *mention* to SFFT that it was a worthwhile investment though. Just so you don't think you're the only one to whom I give "friendly advice", LOL...;)
P.S. If you really *spread the weight* across the cloverleaf, you can get up PRETTY high on the sides of the funnel...surprisingly high... :-0

I don't understand why Elitch Gardens got one of those crappy ones when every other park got a Tornado.
Forget Elitch Gardens. If you want to try a real water park go to Water World. They are building one of these right now for the 2005 season and have had their own half-pipe slide for a while now.

I will be at SFA's opening of tornado tomorrow after many months of anticipation and speculation on a new attraction for this season. Just hope it really adds to the waterpark and doesn't dud out like PBR did when it opened in the main park.
I actually thought PBR was a very, very suprising ride! I was reluctant to get on it at first because it looks like just a giant slide but man, that is one wild ride! Now that is a ride SIF should have cloned!
There are no bad coasters, only better coasters!!
I know these two different types of tubes are being used on the Tornado slides at SFSL, SFA and SFKK for sure. Are the two types of tubes being used on the other three built this year at SFDL, SF SplashTown and SF WaterWorld Concord and the older Tornado slides?
