Ultimate Ride is being released early!

Thought you guys would want to know that Best Buy is expediting UR into stores this weekend for a Sunday promotion. It will probably be on sale for a good price, and Best Buy does have an exclusive prop that's pretty cool. The Coaster XChange will be up and running on the 25th.

Dude... you have been ragging, bragging, and raving on this game like every-day now.

You definately gotta have ties with Disney and the game itself, like a PR rep or something, because not too many people went ballistic like you did over this game (see similar topic: "Ultimate Ride Goes Into Production Today" where the last 10 posts are only by 'irondraggon').

Wait & see is the best approach.

Um, HELLO, if you read the very first post in that thread, you'd know that I'm a BETA TESTER for the game, and if you read down just a little bit further, you'd know that's the ONLY affiliation that I have with Disney! I'm not even getting paid to be a beta tester. I also haven't been posting anything about the game "like every-day", as you say. Check the dates listed on my posts. And so what if the last FEW posts were my own? I'm one of the few people in the world right now who has SEEN the game, so I don't have to "wait and see", I already KNOW that it's gonna be a hit! As for my enthusiasm about it, that's exactly what landed me the very first public beta copy of it a full week before anyone else got a chance to play it, and that's also the reason that I was personally invited to become a beta tester by the producer himself. All of the other beta testers had to submit an application before they could get a copy, except one other guy, who was recruited because he had tested software for Disney before, and he's not a coaster enthusiast like the rest of us. So, if you still think that I work for Disney, please ask Mickey to send me my first paycheck ASAP, because I could really use the cash!

IronDragon, while you obviously are enthusiastic about this game, when is enough enough? You are using promotional language which is not permitted on CoasterBuzz. Even though you don't profit from the sales of this game, someone else will.

LOL! OK, WHATEVER! Like none of y'all are ever enthusiastic about a new coaster! Anyway, y'all will see for yourselves soon enough. In the meantime, we beta teters are already working with the developers on ideas for the first expansion pack, and it's gonna be even more exciting than the first version of the game! RCT is on its way out the door for sure, and if it actually survives, Chris Sawyer is gonna have to put ALOT of work into expediting RCT 2 in 3D, because this game is already there, and it's going light years beyond that! Flat rides and other typical park fare are already being planned as one of the themes for the new expansion, and that's just the tip of the iceberg! If y'all were in on what's going on behind the scenes of this game, y'all would be VERY EXCITED too!

RCT is gonna survive for sure, they blended realism with simple controls that all can handle. I can build amzing realistic coasters on it and my 8 year old sister can make coasters too, and she is proud of them. It's easy to handle yet very close to the real thing. That is what has made RCT so popular. It can be enjoyed by adults and children. I seriously doubt that any coaster game will ever pass RCT, aside from RCT 2 maybe. Also, that is beginning to sound spammish Irondraggon.

Yeah, RCT will last. It runs very well on even slow computers and is a fun game to play. I doubt it any coaster game will top it. I don't know about any game made by disney. I will wait until I see some reviews or download the game myself from a website, but I don't know about buying it

IronDragon, I don't even think you realize how silly you sound. Roller Coaster Tycoon, it created it's own hype, and here you are trying to glorify this game as the next RCT. Good games don't need to manufacture hype. Another good example would be No Limits. I know many folks here on BoasterCuzz are very excited by it's release in October, and all we've had are 12 pictures and a un-editable demo. If your Disney game is as good as you say it is, why is it that your the only one who seems to care (Not to say that they're aren't any CoasterBuzzer's who care, just I haven't heard anything about it here).

Wow.. I was just on Best Buy's web sight and the discription says you can only have a coaster with four loops and that it only has four camera angles. Whats up with that? I WAS going to go buy this game but if it only has that many loops and camera angles, I'll stick with my RCT.

It won't Lance Also I called Best buy and they told me that it will be out on Wednsday the 25th of September. It is a drop ship item and the companies that ship do not run on Sundays.

Excited on that piece of crap game? I think not... It's horrible, mostly because Disney doesn't know the first thing about coasters.

I think the game will have the same cartoony graphic problems Sim Theme Park has, however, out of fairness, I will buy the game and find out my self. And also so I can say I own every coaster related computer game. ;)
