Ultimate @ Lightwater Valley

What can anyone tell me about Ultimate at Lightwater Valley in the UK. I know most buzzers don't take many international trips but I'm interested to hear about this ride. Supposedly it's the longest ride in the world but I never hear anything about it. I checked out the pics at RCDB but they didn't show much of the ride and the parts they did show looked boring. Is this one of those rides that goes ahead and breaks the record but refuses to do anything extra? I'd love to know.

Try looking for Sean F's LV trip report in the TR section from the ECO last summer. I remember that he talked about it quite a bit.

Edit: There, I did the work for you:

It opened with OTSRs of all things! From what I heard it was quite brutal back then!

I saw this coaster on the Robb Alvey European Coaster footage. It's very, very, very, long. It's so low to the ground at points, and next to trees, that I'd be worried about deer jumping out in the path of the train.

Tt is supposed to be a runaway railroad train. Heck look at the ballast and tunnel portals.

Yes Virginia, I am Santa Claus!
I AM WITTY!

BTW. It was the longest at one time but not anymore. SD2000 I believe is the longest current.

I described it in my ECO trip report, as well.

It's, well...long...
