Typhoon Sea Coaster

I have a question to ask? On Coasterbuzz, Skull Mountain at SFGAd is considered a roller coaster. Now, if Skull Mountain is a coaster, then why isn't Typhoon Sea Coaster at SFA considered a roller coaster. Both rides seem very similar to each other. They both are on water, and both coast (I think). So, why isn't Typhoon Sea Coaster at SFA considered a coaster. Can Jeff or a Mod or something who knows the answer please tell me, thanks.

Skull Mountain isn't on water. The only water near the coaster is the water that pours out of the eyes into the fountain that surrounds it.There is no water involved with the coaster operation itself or in other words, there is no flume track sections to Skull mountain.

Oh, ok thanks. I went to SFGAd about 4 years ago (I can't remember) and I never went on Skull Mountain. I always thought that the ride was on water. Now I know why Typhoon Sea Coaster is not a coaster.
