two tone B&M spine

Was just noticing that except for PGA's Vortex all the other B&M's with a two tone spine belong to Cedar Fair. Is the two tone spine an added expense most don't care for or what?

By spine you mean the spine and the ties?

Doesnt NITRO have "two tone B&M spine" ?

no it has different color spine and ties, two tone is where the top of the spine is colored the same as the ties so when looking at the track (for instance Mantis) the track would look solid red, but from the side it looks both yellow and red, with only the very top of it red, you can find a picture of two tone by searching RCDB for Vortex at PGA, they have a couple good pics of two tone...

Ack. I knew it. His noodle post in the science fair thread should've been a dead give away. Heh, He actually thinks were his friends.

Edit: Also his signature. Only 10 year olds thought van wilder was funny.

So Talon would be another one. And how's Superman at WBMW Madrid?
WBMW's Superman is colored like Nitro (yellow rails and ties, red spine), not like the "two tone" coasters he's referring to.

The Raptor clone in Japan, Orochi. The sides of the backbone are pink, the rest is white.

I guess that makes Orochi and Nemesis the most unique paint schemes on a B&M then. Was Orochi installed with that paint scheme?

No. It was originally all-white.
Scream will have a two tone spine. Am I correct?

No. Scream is painted just like Nitro and WBMW's Superman. The spine is all blue, while the rails and ties are yellow.

Part of my original interest with this post was that I found it odd that pretty much all the two tone spines are CF's. Do they have a license or something on this paint style?

Note that Orochi's is different in that only the sides are painted a different color, and it was done post installation.

I'd say no, it probably just tacks on a few bucks and none of the other parks find it necessary. I'm sure its available to everybody.
