sounds like we'll have to wait another year  for some new wood

I though the park would take out Grizzly and put a new woodie there...

"Duff Man Says... Ohhh Yeah!"
Current Favorite Coasters:
1)Raging Bull 2)Millennium Force 3)Medusa (SFMW) 4)Vertical Velocity (SFGAm) 5)Dueling Dragons (Ice)

I was hoping for a big coaster.
Flying Eagles is a flat ride i assume...:(

I dont like this news whatsoever :( hehe

Man! why not 2 coasters for 2002 like the rumor.. SFMW has won............................................

Free with admission? What the heck is that supposed to mean? It's not really free if you have to pay...I'm sick of the misuse of that word.

If the Flying Eagles are anything like Knoebels', THAT is cool. I'm hoping Paramount leaves the Stan Lee 7th Portal for next year, Jill is a HUGE fan and we didn't get to it at PKI this year...Delirium is probably a new Huss flat ride, or one of the many other new flat rides this year (catching up to coaster technology advances?).  As for Grizzly, it's a great idea in a great location, but some re-tracking/re-profiling IS in order...NEVER give away any coaster, esp. a woodie!

Oh well, this is better than just a simulator by 7th Portal! I was really hoping for a big time ride this year but I can defently go another year on the current rides we have! It sounds like were getting 2 great flat rides and a good simulator, bring it on! Is this flying eagels a flying scooter ride? I think it might be the flat ride that got taken out last year though, it sounds an awful lot like it! Derlium, wonder how crazy it will be!

Not MLK's words but mine..I have a Dream! I have a DREAM! I HAVE A DREAM!I have a dream! That SFMM fans will be able to walk hand in hand with CP's!
AND no ONE cares what a coaster is and what a coaster isn't!

Yeah it's frusterating that PGA needs a woodie so bad, and they accually have a great one that for some reason just is horrible! It's to twin brothers at PCW and esspecially PKD are some of the best out there! All we need is some PTC's and substanial retracking and we got a good ride!

P.S. How did you email PGA's media person?

Delirium looks absolutely insane, but I'll have to settle for Psyclone.  I wonder if there's any other Paramount Park getting a giant ride besides PCW, PGA, and PKI?

Frankster, there's considerable discussion going on here already about PKI's new TR:TR, so I won't bring that discussion here...but with the new Paramount park in Spain(?), I'm sure they'll get one too.  And PKD won't be getting anything other than a "non-Reverchon" mouse?  Gotta doubt that too...enough capacity problems with Volcano, then H:XLC...

Wait, then what would be Delirium? Maybe a Huss topspin or something?

to email the medis person i went to pgas media page and submitted a "guest comment." Instead of a comment i left a question. It just happend that they person who responded was actually nice enough to send me some good info.

I too was hoping for a new coaster, but pga is in need of some good flat rides as well. the way i see it pga is just expanding their collection of quality rides.

if we're lucky PGA will theme this puppy like on huss's web site. with proper theming this ride looks to be a smash(delirium)!
It would have been cool if PGA had installed Land of the Giants! http://www.hussrides.com/35bGiantLandSitePlan.htm

My only question about Flying Eagles is that is it an existing ride, or brand new?  If brand new, it'll probably be a Chance Avaitor like PKD's.  PKI has a ride similar to Kneobels called Flying Eagles.  I hope they use the name only and do nothing with moving the ride because it's one of the best flat rides around.

Screamscape.com, who is ,90% right usally, believes its a new version of the classic Flying scooters (Origanally built by Bisch-Rocco in the 1930's) But you never know, it could be an Aviator.
does anyone have a link to a picture of teh flying scooters?

The Delirium going into PGA isn't from Huss, it's the same ride that they have at Thorpe Park.  It's called Vortex there, and I can't think of the company that makes it off-hand.  Here's the link to Vortex at Thorpe Park: http://www.thorpepark.co.uk/park_guide/new_2001.html
Here's another link to the same information on RRC through Google Groups:  http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&th=8fe68f6f51ed0aa6
