Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park announced today that President and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Bob Kraemer has informed the park of his resignation for personal reasons. Wow, that's too bad. I get the feeling that Mr. Bonfante wanted to do a little more than just build a park. I wonder how he's doing financially. He sunk quite a chunk of change in the place.

I suspect he did OK. It doesn't sound like he's leaving out of regret. I mean, he had the vision, he built it, it lives on. If he's one of those entrepreneurial types, like everyone else in that area, I bet he's ready to move on to the next thing.

However, last I heard, he lives in Branson now. If parks and entertainment doesn't interest him anymore, seems like a curious place to live.

Think we could see Bonfante-Branson Gardens in the future? ;)

I know that he was at least at one time involve with the Herschends as he has helped Celebration City start planting circus trees.
