Two groups are putting a new spin on Vegas by announcing plans to build giant modern Ferris-style observation wheels. One developer wants to build one across from Mandalay Bay, but hasn't completed the funding. Caesars Entertainment also has secured loans to build one next to Flamingo.

This gets a giant "meh" from me. Apparently these giant ferris wheels (London Eye) are that popular to justify the ones proposed here and in Orlando. I am ferriphobic anyhow (numerous dreams of me in a ferris wheel, it jumping off it's support and rolling down a hill) so take my "meh" with salt.
Mmmm... Salty Meh. It could use a bit of hot sause too. :)
