I saw the "Coasters of the West" the other day, and wondered why they showed just clips of X, but didn't feature it. In fact they barely mentioned it.

They showed clips of X testing which were given to them by the park just like the clips of Deja Vu's opening.

Oh, and the Bill Nye the Science Guy show is called Simple and Scream Machines, showing differene coasters(the park that it was filmed at had some Arrow or Venkoma coaster with a blue corkscrew(all the clip showed was the train going through half a corkscrew , so it could either have been a blue boomerang or blue Arrow looper.

I think that would leave:

Jazzland

Cedar Point

Knotts Berry Farm

Marine World

Valleyfair!

Six Flags Darien Lake

Grerat Escape

Six Flags World of Adventure

To see what park it is, you'll have to watch the show or find out what city the show is taped in or where its studio is.

Thanks for the info. I will be sure to watch it. The coasters of the west was ok, but they went into distinct detail with each coaster which I felt left out time for other coasters. But it was nice with the coasters they did cover.

Did anybody else notice that apparently the travel channel is pretty unfamiliar with any family vacation that aren't in Las Vegas or Florida? The Florida shows were pretty good, since there are a LOT of parks there. But Vegas? Sure one, MAYBE 2 shows, but no way did it deserve 5 shows...My roommate and I groaned every night when the Vegas show came on...

What is LMN?
That thing on the Today Show should be interesting. NBC seems to have a history of attacking coasters and the coaster industry. I guess I'll have to get up early and watch that.

Something Movie Network, one of a hundred movie channels on Direct TV. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Thrill is a movie that entirely takes place at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk with a kindapping as the high point of the movie and the turning point is where they take a mad chase while riding Giant Dipper, and the agent has to catch up tp the murderer in the front seat, but they can't stop the coaster or else it will blow up. I won't tell you more than that but there is a whole lot more, including when he locks rider on a simulator and set it on fir and makes the effect for the haunted house lethal. Don't miss it!!!

I'm also waiting to see the Top 10 Coasters on the Today Show. That ought to be really interesting, but just the title of NBC's other coaster special NBC Investigates: Terror Rides, okay what is there to investigate and terror rides, talk about being harsh. I still say it has Ed Markey's name written all over it.
