Tumbleweed at SFGam News

I was at Six Flags Great America on Monday July 5th, and while I was waiting in line for Superman, I overheard one of the employees (rideop) tell the guy in front of me about the new ride for next year. I then proceeded to ask this rideop, whose name was Kyle, about the ride. He said it was almost confirmed that a B&M 4-D ride called Tumbleweed was scheduled to go behind Viper over by Space Shuttle America. Kyle seemed pretty sure, and said that he had connections with a bunch of the people in upper management.

WOW! It must be true because that's what the Dippin' Dot's guy said too... ;) Honestly, rideops aren't any more "in the know" than most of us are. As far as I know, that is. :)

Welcome to Coasterbuzz....I agree with that Marimbaguy said. We're happy to have you here, but just so you know, rumor discussion isn't really a good thing here....it usually turns into junk discussion 99.999% which never comes close to being true.

It is nice to see that you can use the English language properly and spell correctly. That's better than 95% of the new members here...welcome aboard! :)

What's with all the B&M 4D rumors? B&M doesn't even make a 4D as far as I know. So why does everyone think they will make one?

He stated (and later corrected himself) that he had found a patent by B&M for a 4d coaster and the rumors started flying and still soar today.

(heck, until searching CBuzz just now, I thought it was true too)

I did, however just search the USPO website and found no recent patents for B&M

I heard it got canned for one reason or another, but I do remember seeing the article that announced it over the winter.
