None of the staging lights were working. In talking to a couple people they said that CP was still playing around with a few ideas about that. I'm sure there will be even a couple more changes come OD and during the season too!

It's all about getting around the barrels or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and still looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that? :)

Moosh: Yeah, but WT has more of a "whippy" sensation, whereas TTD is more like a genuine heartline.... anyway, they just feel different.

For those who asked, personally I was at the media day because I'm an editor at a newspaper. I really don't know how many of the GP-type folks or enthusiasts were there, but I would guess many of them have long-standing relationships with the park. But I'm quite sure you could not buy your way in... invitation only.

SFGAm Viper: I did not get any air over the top hat. Even my non-enthusiast friend said, "I didn't get any of that 'floaty' feeling at the top like I thought I would."

Jo: I saw you on Channel 4 news in Columbus. :) I didn't see myself in any media, but the top of my head is in a photo on Virtual Midway. ;)

Does any one know where the smoke and noises are coming from? At the ACE no coaster con the PR guy from cedar point said something about smoke coming from the large tires on the back of the train. Does anyone know this for sure?
