TTD made its way all the way down to VA!!

Whether this may be exciting to you or not, i thought this was a bit interesting.

On the front page of the travel section of our local newspaper(The Free Lance Star), TTD dominates the page. With quotes about the height, and an entire article about the ride and cedar point, i was just amazed of how far the publicity of this ride has traveled.

Has anyone else seen anything like this that lives even further? I know its likely you may have seen TTD on the news or something, but have you ever heard it broadcasted on radio or anything else local? Just curious.

Only thing I can add is when MF opened, the Washington Post sent a travel writer there as a day trip for an insert into the Style section during the week.

I know when TTD first opened it was in every major Newspaper the store I work at carries in So.cal. I also have an uncle that's overseas right now in the Army and he said he was in Germany and there was an artical in the local paper on TTD there. So I guess it is safe to say TTD is getting what CP wanted World wide recognition.

X...I still can't believe it wasn't a dream
And in Muskegon it took quite a while. (I think the Lansing newspaper took longer)

Guess who's back... MIA JON!

I wish Snoopy on Ice would have received this much coverage! Sure, it's not Blast, Fantasmic, or Festival of the Lion King, but it works.

A coworker was on a cruise a few weeks ago and he overheard people talking about it on the ship. The work has really gotten around.

Lets go Drag racing.
Yeah, it really is amazing. SoCal and germany? And I thought VA was pretty far for it to be recognized.

On opening day, I was asked to do a live radio interview about Dragster for the Warren Pierce Show on WJR in Detroit. At first, I just thought the show was a local Detroit show but I was later informed that it was heard in 20 states, and elsewhere. Had I known that before I did the interview, I would have been really nervous.(gulp)

Last Thursday, I did a quick interview for CBS's The Early Show featuring Dragster. This is to air this upcoming Thursday so it sounds as if no one is safe from seeing Dragster on TV.....and just a few weeks into the season. Did Millennium Force get this much coverage initially?

-Sean (be afraid.......be very afraid.....Dragster is coming to a living room near you)

Much to my surprise they mentioned TTD on the crappy local news all the way down here in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
