I was trying to deduce from the POV vides when the deceleration for Top Thrill Dragster will begin. But due to the poor quality of these videos it is a little difficult. Anyone have any ideas or information about this?

Shortly after the track levels out following the drop. The line of brake fins is quite lengthy. You can see it on CP's webcams.

But I would *assume* it begins deceleration as soon as the track starts to go UP into the tophat, trading kinetic for potential energy....
Oh, you meant slowing *after* the tophat...;)
I would assume deceleration would begin where the checkered flags will supposedly be placed alongside the track. But, rollergator is also correct, and there will also be deceleration points approaching the unloading and loading platforms as well. ;)

Technically the train would start to decelerate as soon as it has disengaged from the launch mechanism due to drag forces and friction, even if it is only traveling on level track.
Funny...I never considered the post-launch climb. Thanks for bringing that up!
