Tsunami now open? Park says YES!

Just saw a commercial for Tsunami a few minutes ago here on our local UPN channel (watching Smackdown! currently)...you can save $8 with a coupon you can pick up at McDonalds....so the coaster is officially officially open, thought i'd give the heads up on the coupon offer. They already had guests on it, crews filming on/around the coaster for the commercial, looks wicked cool!

Haha no I'm not giving Patrick the finger

LOL@mamoosh. You are the only person on these boards able to get away with your R rated inuendo.

Must be a trait of WCFC members!

*Whacks everyone over the head with a steel chair*

Ha!

Why does it have to be a STEEL chair BigJim? Wouldn't WOOD be more appropriate?? :)

Wood Coaster Fan Club - "Sharing a Passion for the Classics" www.woodcoaster.org

But if it has steel bolts then its a steel chair, right? Like Villian has steel supports so its a steel coaster!
So a true wooden chair would have to have wooden bolts?

Or some kind of super-compressed paper fiber.
Anybody going to ride this thing today? The weather isn't so great but good enough for the ride to be open with light crowds. I'm heading over there tomorrow so I'll let you know how it is.

Not even going to touch that one.

Umm.....nevermind.

I think you already did ;)
wow kinda easy to vere of course isnt it?

I rode Tsunami today! It was blazing fast through it's course. I would never dare say that the ride was too short. It was merely: "a lot has happened in a short bit of time." It's quite agressive. The transition from the end of the upper helix down to the bunny hill section swept me off my feet. The trains look amazing.

Not to get off topic... but for what it is worth...

Visited Clementon on Sunday the 19th. Park was kind of crowded... but only 20 to 30 minute waits for the coaster.

Wow! Seems a bit on the short side, but not a waisted piece of track once you clear the lift chain. lots of strong laterals all over the place and a few good pops of air. It's one wicked ride. There will be some complaints about roughness, but hey... its a wooden coaster and it is fast... what do you expect.

It does look kind of funny with its 4 car, 2 seat train (16 riders per train), but the good thing about that... there are no "middle seats"... you are either in the first or second car, or the last or next to last car.

All in all, a pretty good coaster and should be great for Clementon.

Now... back to your silliness.
