Tsunami??? any new news?

I was wondering if anyone had heard of an update as to when tsunami would be open at Clementon Park in New Jersey? I know Jersey weather may have delayed the testing or inspection but was wondering what the latest buzz was on the new coaster.

Maybe next weekend or a little sooner. From what I hear, not this weekend.

There was an article on the front page of the courier-post(south jersey newspaper) and it said that it will open as soon as the state signs off the necessary paperwork. It also showed the ower taking a test ride on it and he said it was the biggest thrill of his life. The top speed of the ride was also 4 miles per hour faster than anticipated at 60 mph.

Guess I couldn't wait for this morning's newspaper... thanks for the updates! Well looks like I will only see it test tommorow :-(

I guess the NJ state government has more important things on their mind right now than signing off on a new coaster (those noit living in NJ are excused from not understanding the humor in that).

Maybe the inspectors locked in the closet?

Wonder if his wife knew all along and just played shocked for the press, or if she genuinly didn't know...

But ya have to admit, if he was still the governor, he may be willing to sign off on such a big woodie himself...

Is it still testing?

yes it tested today while i was at clementon park and OMFG yes the F has to be there... the layout of this coaster rocks and it looks real fast.....Not gonna do a trip report since all i rode was 6 rides over and over...Sea Dragon, Chaos, Thunderbolt (flying bobs) some thing else didn't remember the name of it (kinda a sideways flying carpet), Turtle Whil(tilt a hurl) and Inverter....but definitely gotta ride Tsunami this season if it opens....
