trouble with loopy - CoasterBuzz

When I go to play Loopy Landscapes it will load as usual but when it finishes instead of going through the usual hasbro introduction it just skips to the main page and gives me a error trapper Exception Raised-Access Violation and will not let me play the game. Is there anything I can do beside re-installing (i've tried that a couple of times and it still hasn't worked) Any ideas thanks in advance for the help.

Have you tried to patch it? Since it was released, the RCT official site was (don't ask how, it just happend!) updated, and has new patches. That might work. Otherwise, try uninstalling it, delete everything the uninstall leaves behind, and start from scratch. Hope you don't need to do that!

Same here... stupid poopy landscapes.

the us patch did not work for me, but some of the spelling in my original RCT is like in britain,(tyre, centre, etc.), so i might have the UK version of the game, but i installed it and loopy in english mode, but i copied the library copy of original RCT,(bad me) so does anybody know what i can do??? it worked until i installed loopy

I am having the same problem. It used to work fine untill I reinstalled it. if anyone has an answer Please post it. Thank you

I had the same problem after purchasing a new computer. It could be something with your video card changing settings. All I did was uninstall the game completely. RCT, CF, and LL. Then simply reinstall it, then patch it, and run it. Should be good as new. I feel like a doctor.

fixed it!!! tech support was down, (they are in maryland near NY), so i did it by trial-and-error, here it is:

backup saved games, uninstall everything, then delete what uninstall left behind
reinstall plain RCT, then patch it with the official US RCT patch
install LL, then patch it with the official US RCT-LL patch
install drexler patch if you use it, then run the game, it should work fine
