Tropical Storm Berry keeping IOA closed?

Hey all of you buzzers:)

I was watching the news and Tropical Storm Berry is over Florida and I was wondering if the storm is keeping Islands of Adventure closed due to the weather? I'm not going there but I was just wondering.

Not that I know of, but Barry isn't all that powerful, and isn't headed toward FL anyway. I was in Tampa (evacuated, I'll never do that again) during Floyd in '99, and BGT was open -- sure, it wasn't getting hit, but they didn't close down just because a storm was in the vicinity. It might be raining, fewer rides open due to weather, but the park is pretty much a go. I haven't seen it on the news, anyway.

I was watching the weather channel about Barry there saying it might get stronger coming Sunday night will wait and see.

I think that Disney was closed during Floyd, but remember it came ashore very near to central FL (Barry is in the panhandle, nowhere near Tampa) and Floyd was MUCH more powerful. Floyd, in fact, was supposed to be tracked to hit Orlando, but turned north almost at the coast. Barry isn't even a hurricane, even though it has been gaining strength; it's still a tropical storm.

IOA is closed down, or was today and yesterday, or so I was told.

Update on Tropical Storm Barry I was just watching the weather channel its almost a hurricane. I would say in the next day Islands Of Adventure maybe closed or not.
