Has there ever been a time when a triple racing coaster was built, ala THREE MONKEYS PARK in RCT/CF ? I know about STEEPLECHASES, and such, but was there ever a triple racer?
No.

If a park made it big enough like an large steel like magnum but had it a 3 racer they would reek returns.

Gosh people can't you take a joke. Just laugh and get on with life.
there wasn't a triple racing coaster at knotts, there was a four lane steeplechase ride, Saop Box Racers, which used log-ride-type vehicles (no restraints, 4 per vehicle front to back.) It actually had a different outcome each time depending on the weight of the passengers, although I think lanes 3 and 4 always came in third and fourth. I still can't believe they took that ride out, what were they thinking? Will they ever build steeplechase rides again?
Ahhhh, a triple racer. Hey Hostyl(Jeremy)? Are you listening? This would create your Power Puff Girls coaster. That would be a great family ride.

Doesn't Stampida consist of two adult racers side by side along with a kiddie (racer)?

I totally agree
Maybe a theme park will build one some day.
It would be awesome if they had a triple racing B&M Launched sit-down, That would rock !!!
hey, if dueling dragons is any indication of things to come as far as B&M racers go, I'm excited!
Well, in all of our coaster shows on tv, there is some footage from the roaring 20's and there was a 3 or 4 tracked, racing woodie. It was sick.

Actually, John Miller did build a few triple racing coasters. One was at Fontaine Ferry Park in Louisville,KY and another one was at Dallas Exposition (State Fair?)Park. Both were built in 1936. I believe the Fontaine Ferry coaster lasted until the park closed. The Dallas ride I'm not sure how long it lasted.
Chi-Town: With the recent proliferation of kid friendly coasters at Paramount parks Reptar, SuperSaturator, Hypersonic (oh wait..not that one!) I wouldn't put it past Paramount to do something like that. Kings Dominion are you listening?!?!

Stampidia is a twin, not a 3-way racer, Look at this from rcdb.com
http://www.rcdb.com/installationgallery759.htm?Picture=2 See it's a twin. It was built in '97 by CCI. Looks like a cool ride.
