Trip To SFMM - Help!!!

Hello.  I'm going to SFMM this Sunday.  It will be my first trip since the opening of Goliath.  I was just wondering if any rides have been closed recently (I'm mostly concerned about Deja Vu and X).  I called the park last Sunday and they stated that "all rides should be operating."  Has X and Deja Vu been running every day the park is open?  Also, I don't really understand this Fastlane deal.  Where do I purchase this add-on?  How much does it cost?  How long does it last? Is it even worth it?  How much wait time does it cut off?  I read that X was 3 hours this past Saturday.  What would the Fastlane wait be?  Thanks for your help.

Fastlane for X was 1.5 hours Saturday.
If fastlane was 1.5 hours on Saturday what was the regular line like?  Are the lines any better on Sunday?  What are typical lines like for X on Sunday?

Wait, the "Fastlane" has a wait? Doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose?

Yes the fastlane's do get waits since they usually only let 2 fastlane people into the line every 10 people.

There is a long wait for fastlane?  That sucks.  At least fastpass at Disney parks is free, and there isn't much of a wait.  Can anyone give me a price and details about fastlane?  Thanks.

SFMM's Fastlane is $15 and can be used four times. I'm not sure where they are sold, but I think it's somewhere in or near the entrance plaza.

I have never used fastlane and now I know why.  $15 bucks for 4 trips?  You have to be kidding me.  How pathetic.  It should be all day, no matter what.

Believe me, for X, a 1.5 hour wait for Fast Lane is a WALK-ON compared to what the people in the regular line have to go through...I waited ALMOST 4 hours on Saturday Jan. 19 in the regular queue from the time I got in line 11:10 am to about 2:40 was when I boarded one of the X cars. Crazy, but WORTH EVERY MINUTE OF THE WAIT. All of you get over there and ride it!

Even though Fastlane appears to be a joke, I think I'll invest the money.  The last SFMM ride I waited 4 hours in line for was Ninja on opening weekend.  And you know that was a waste.  Can anybody give me ideas on the Fastlane wait for other rides such as Deja Vu and Goliath?  Thanks.

...why not just up the admission price $15 and let EVERYBODY use "Fastlane"...LMAO!

I know Deja Vu does not use fast lane.  Four hours for X?  Wow, how about Sundays?
I went to Magic on Sunday and used FastLane for X....It took me right into the station.  As for the regular line, the wait was between 2-3 hours long.  I saw a couple of friends there and they were still in line after I rode X, Riddlers, and Viper.
Thanks everyone for your help.  I just need one more favor.  Can anyone tell me if any local restaurants or other places of business are offering discounts on tickets to SFMM?  If so, can you please tell me what one and where?  Thanks so much!
4 hrs for X, wow imagine waiting that long on a hot August day... Man you'll have people passing out left and right..

Fastlane $15 is meeting Del apart of the $15? Do you get a free drink or something...

It's conflict that shows who a person really is!

As far as I know, no one right now is offering discounts for SFMM.  The one-day admission is $42.99, parking is $7.00, and the annual pass is $90.00.  As for one of your other questions, you buy your Fast Lane ticket(s) at the Fast Lane Sales Center, the building behind Guest Relations  (A hint, walk straight forward when you go into the front gate and then turn left just before you get to the locker building).  When Fast Lane is being used for Goliath and RR, you go right up into the loading platform area and then choose the row you want to ride in.  I myself don't know if they are ever going to put in Fast Lane for Deja Vu although there is a definite line separation on the ramp going up to the loading platform.  It is also used, sometimes, for Colossus, Viper, Superman, Batman, Revolution, Roaring Rapids and Arrowhead Splashdown.  I am guessing for 'X' that if the Fast Lane pass line is fairly short (which it should be on a Sunday), the line goes right up into the station and then you pick the row you want to ride in from there.  There is a divided line going right up into the station on both sides (X loads from both sides of the platform) and they would collect your Fast Pass at the entrance to the loading platform, so no one can 'line jump' into the Fast Pass line.

Im going to SFMM this summer. June 2-5. Since LA kids arent out of school yet and us Houston kids are, there Im expecting there wont be many lines. I went to CP last year on the same date and MF had a max wait of 45 minutes! All of the other rides were walk ons. I hope the same for SFMM.
Coasterguy1,

I realize that I am updating a forum topic after my trip has already taken place, but let me offer some advice.  I went to SFMM on Sunday, January 29.  Due to a rain storm, X only opened for about 1 hour in the middle of the day.  While I was very lucky to be right on the bridge when it opened, and even more fortunate to be able to ride in the front, the load/unload times were very slow.  I had six riders in front of me and waited 40 minutes until I was on the ride.  While I am not blaming the ride ops at all, something needs to be done before summer. When the train pulls into the station, those who just rode are let off.  The seats then lean back and the train moves forward to the loading gates.  Next, the seats move forward and the new riders hop on.  Then, the seats move back and the train is on its way.  While this might not sound as that long of a process, it takes about a minute to two minutes for the train to unload, move into the station, reload, and head out of the station.  While I am sure that this will be somewhat resolved with the addition of a third train, my advice to you is to purchase a fastlane ticket for this ride.  It will only help you ride other coasters on your trip.
