Trip to Cali.

None

Well, I just got back from vacation from Cali. First I went to Knotts Berry Farm. I went there for 3 days. I got a chance to ride Perlious Plunge. We did indeed ride it the wait was about 1 hour. The thing is that we got stuck about 10 feet from the top. So the people come up and tell us first there going to have to take us off one by one. By this time it was cold and no body wanted to ride. Well, Right after they said that they wanted to try to reset the ride. And of coarse bam, It was on. So we walked around soaked and frozed the rest of the day. Well, Ghostrider is described with one word: Awsome. It is one of the best woodies i've been on. I didn't get a chance to ride Xcelerator. But, It looks great. : ( Well, After Knotts I went to Six Flag Magic Mountain. I didn't really like M.M. that much. X of coarse closed. I really, Really wanted to ride (Z force) Flash Back. But, they close it because it's "too loud" for the water park. It was at my home park I really wanted to ride it but, It was closed. As being the Xtream park, I really don't think it is. So I guess it was fun but, It's not the greatest park on the planet. I still love Cedar Point and PKI.
Nice TR but it would be helpful to put it in paragraphs. Seems like you had a nice time though!
How does Ghostrider compare to..... The Villain per se? Or The Beast. I'm going on that same trip and I'll be pissed if X isnt open. Xcellerator will make up for it though I think. How long did you stay at Knotts, cause we're going to go in for that deal where you go after 4pm and its $20. Do you think 7 hrs is enough time? And finally how did Goliath compare with Magnum/Millennium Force? Thanks

on a saturday, 7 hours certaintly will not be enough time to enjoy the wonderful park. with 14 hours you can see some shows, re ride ghostrider many times, and take it easy if you have AAA, you can save 10 dollars and get in for only 30 dollars. don't expect to get on everything or see the entire park in 7 hours on a saturday.
Goliath wasn't that great. See, I'm all about the first hill. The angle is not that steep like the MForce. But, The only thing I like about Goliath is that the helix is sooo powerful. I began crying because it was amazing. (Not really) So, To put it in words, Magnum/Millennium Force beat Goliath on my list. But, You may like it, it's basically your oppioun.
So what other rides did you ride at SFMM? B:TR? S:TE?

X-Flight World's Only flying coaster!
Batwing World's only flying coaster!
S:UF World's only flying coaster! Don't you love SF ?

When we go to Knotts it will most likely be a Tuesday or a Wednesday. Do you still think that 7 hours won't be enough. I don't even know for sure if we're going to Knotts. But that deal is the only way that we will.

if you are desperate you can just sign up for a ralphs club (super market) membership and buy the tickets at the store for what, 24 dollars?
yep, Ralphs or Food for Less sell $24 tickets approximately, or you can go to Subway or Carl's Jr and get coupons for a $26 admission to Knott's. Pay the extra few bucks and spend the day there so you can enjoy the rest of the park. There is a lot to see and do there besides their coaster. And if you've got a shopper, they'll love Ghost Town!

I didn't get a chance to ride Xcelerator. But, It looks great

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I dont think Xcellerator has actually opened yet, so you wouldnt have got to ride it anyway, I've heard its opening on the 20th June????

At least I dont think its opened yet cause I havent seen any reviews for the coaster, so can anyone give some definate info as to when it will open??

20th of June is right. That's when it's predicted to open. I'll have to talk to my parents about the subway thing. So if we went to Subway around Magic Mountain, then we would get the coupons there. I don't know the chances that we'd go all day. I don't even know the chances that we'd go half a day. I'll be pretty pissed if we don't go there. My mom was very supportive of the idea when i brought it up to her about 2 months ago but within the past week, I've been asking her stuff about when we're going to Knotts and she says "That's if we go" and "We'll play it by ear."

Is there any way to secure a $20-26 ticket. Like ordering online or something like that? If you could help that'd be great.

well, the subway / burger joint coupons are over, so the only way to get discount tickets for just 23 bucks a pop is at Ralphs (supermarket). You buy them in the store. They are sold at all So. California ralphs, so the one near SFMM sells them too. The only catch is that you have to join the club card deal. You'll get loads of junkmail until.
Hmm, was at Subway 2 days ago and they still had the coupons. And the other place was Carl's Jr, not BK, and they most definately still have the coupons there for KBF. And if memory serves right, I believe that there is a Carls on the other side of hte freeway from KBF. Though if I'm wrong on that they are all over the place down here. Just look for the star (looks just like Hardee's for all you east coasters)
