Trip advice - KI, HW, IB, SFKK, SFGA

You mentioned visting HW at night. That is one thing you should look into. They are not open late very much (my one beef with the park) so it is a good idea to check their schedule and make sure you are there a day they are open till 10. Night rides on the coasters there will be the highlight of your trip. Too bad they are so hard to come by.

Edit: when you are there, keep in mind that they close the line for Raven early, so don't miss your chance to ride late. When I was there, they seemed to be more flexable on Legend. *** Edited 1/31/2005 8:37:29 PM UTC by RavenTTD***

I think it is those iron gates!
RavenTTD, Holiday World is better than Dollywood: you practically have to go in December to get any shot at nighttime rides, that is, if the weather cooperates. The latest it closes in the summer is 8PM!
Yeah, it may be better, but it has to be dark in HW for Raven and Legend to compete with Thunderhead in the daylight. ;) However, I think all parks should stay open till 11 for night rides. Open at noon if you want, just give us our night rides. :)
Night rides, especially on woodies like the three you mentioned, are just plain incredbile. Unfair to competition that you only experience in the day.

I couldnt agree more, my first rides on the Knoebels coasters was at night. I couldnt stop laughing on Phoenix cause we were flying off the seats every which way, and Twister...man, after the double helix forget about it. I had no idea which way was what.

I am looking forward to HW and IB the most I think.

I plan on hitting IB this summer. Anyone know a ballpark figure regarding the cost for Birthday Bash at the Beach?
Well, here is my 3 cents.
1. HW is like stated a whole day.
2. IB is def a whole day. I had as much fun there possibly as i did at HW earlier this summer.
3. I am a hoosier from muncie, and there is a lot of spec. that DST may be taken up by the whole state this year.
4. When at Pki, i would def start where the rest of us passholders do, the EAGLES. After bout three hours there.....sorry FORGOT that aint gonna happen anymore.
