Wait...I thought King's Island was in the Mid-West? Wasn't that all worked out in this discussion:

The list I posted is just a small excerpt of the weeks programming. Just go to http://travel.discovery.com/schedule/schedule.jsp?date=today&channel=TRV and click through the next weeks worth of dates and you will see tons of shows. Most of which I thought a majority of us have seen already.

I thought exactly the same thing when I saw the show's title, Moosh. Especially when talking about Cincinnati. Clearly, Ohio needs to get off the fence and decide whether it wants to be in the East, or Midwest. Perhaps this could be a referendum item in November.

Well, just to throw a curve ball, I say we are Mid-East. LOL
Heck, I'll say I'm from the South* if it gets my park on The Travel Channel!

*(not that there's anything wrong with that)

Thanks to everyone who attended Will's online seminar today--it was fun!

Holiday World

Any of the non-waterpark shows new?

LOL! Paula.......I don't think Holiday World will have to worry about NOT being on the show anytime soon.

I am interested in seeing the Tomb Raider segment. I might even see myself this time. lol.

I consider Ohio mid-west, but there is nothing more confusing than West Virginia. Even though our name has "west" we are sometimes referred to as mid-west, or mid-atlantic, or mid-south, or even the east coast , for those who illiterates who still think WV is *western* Virginia. lol.

Anyway, thanks for the advance notice on the upcoming shows!

Thanx for the heads up! Hope I can catch the shows this time. I always seem to forget them, then beat myself up over missing them! lol
Hershey is being featured right now...grab the remote.

Seems like the travel channel's search still doesn't work. I remember a two years ago trying to get it to work and emailing them about it.
Example, I can't find the Eastern Theme Park Secrets: Extreme East show there. I want to see when it will be on again.
Does anyone have a collection of these on DVDRs?

I got the last 15-20 minutes of the show, when they were featuring parts of IOA. :-( I assumed the show would be on again since they usually have repeat after repeat but according to the TC schedule it doesn't look like it will be anytime soon. :-/

The Hershey show is awesome. :-) Haven't seen the one with Spashin Safari yet.....assuming it's already aired.

Tina- What parts of IOA did they show? I was at a filming for Dueling Dragons, and it was going to be on Theme Park Secrets. I was one of 2 that did the narration, and wanted to see me make a fool out of myself (if they decided to air mine, of course). I assumed it would be a different edition of this special since it wasn't mentioned in the show description, and I consider IOA to be in the South. Oh well. *** Edited 3/21/2004 3:13:35 PM UTC by Matt D***

A bit more than half the show was US+IOA. Dragons, MIB, Spiderman, Hulk, and Seuss landing. Non Universal bits: TTD to lead the show, and TR:TR about midway through.

I don't remember anything about Hershey or Busch Gardens, but I could be wrong. It's still on the replay, so I might watch it again before dumping it.
