I was able to hit Knott's the morning they were filming some early morning rides on Xcelerator for the speed episode of this. Looking forward to seeing what date that episode will be showing.

They filmed on Hydra at Dorney 2 weeks ago, and filmed at Kings Island this past weekend on Vortex, Diamondback and Beast.

I voted in the categories that are up so far. I will continue to vote, and plan to watch the shows when they air.

I was at the filming at SFNE for Bizarro and then 2 days later they filmed at gradv on Eltoro and Kingda Krap!

The KI filming really screwed up Diamondback's early entry on Saturday morning. :(

I did the filming on Kracken at SW and Montu at BG. When the producer saw my Montu tattoo at SW he told me to stay out of the shots so they could use me for Montu.
I'm hoping they will use my Montu POV shooting and my interview! :)

Jo, I'm totally jealous of your stats, though I'm sure my Talon stats are about the same as maybe your Montus...but still, Montu is the best inverted I've ever ridden, so I'm still jealous. Lol

Saw you on the show last night, along with a couple of other people I've actually met. Didn't really enjoy the shows themselves. The groupings are so random, and the vocal histrionics of the announcer irked me. But I know that goes with the territory on shows like this. Looking forward, though, to this Sunday's show..Toro, Voyage, Beast, Thunderhead..all in my Top Ten!

Jo, that was you with the Montu tat? Excellent! I was just asking in my thread if anyone had any other coaster tattoos and if anyone had ever gotten a coaster tattoo and then the coaster was renamed or taken down. Lol not that it matters if it is still near and dear to the heart.

I wish I would have been there for the filming! That would have been fun.

I don't think I could do a roller coaster tattoo. I'm just not into them *that* much. The Disney-themed one is as close as I'll ever get.

On a side note, I'm working on something for my leg that I'm hoping should be pretty cool. It's completely non-coaster related.

My summers mainly consist of coasters and DMB shows (though not this year due to conflicting events), so I just got a Schwarzkopf-inspired loop and coaster train with a fire dancer in the middle of the loop, carnival style letters spelling out DMB at the top of the loop, and my signature quote from below in the loop track. I originally wanted a cute little loop on my shoulder and a cute little firedancer with a quote from DMB, but the tattoo artist drew up this beastly backpiece with all my favorite things in one design, and I had to have it. If I knew how to link stuff, I'd link a pic of it. I love it, and I love that it makes me feel like I do when I ride coasters: brave, free, and a little badass.

And that was totally off topic again. Darn squirrel.

My 1st tattoo was the Raptor logo on my shoulder, then a CP tattoo on my other shoulder, from there I got the entire CP skyline (and train) on my left calf, then I got another Raptor logo on my right calf.
Thought I was done....till I moved down here.
Got my Montu tatt a few months ago on my calf under my Raptor then got a Dueling Dragons tattoo shortly there after (you can see on the show it was still kinda new even then) on my calf on top of my Raptor logo. As for defunked, I did DD instead of Dragon Challenge cause to me the dragons will always be DD-Fire and Ice. LOVE those rides too!
Why coaster tats? I love those coasters and CP-I could think of no better way to express that then my tats. I also have a horse tat (and have had "cowgirl up" added to it since then) and am currently saving up to have a portrait of my horse done.
I found a tat guy down here who is AMAZING!! :)
(Unlike my last guy in Ohio who sucked :()

I have always felt that tattoos should reflect the individual's personality. So, for many of us, coasters are the way we roll.

I got my first tat in 1992. Of course it was Magnum. Instead of doing the logo, I chose to have it done from one of my own photos. I like to be original and not have tats that someone else could have. I later got Loch Ness Monster on my back, Mantis with the Banshee logo (on purpose), Millennium Force (a regret), and on my chest is a combination of Raptor, Montu, Dueling Dragons, and Nemesis. I have more planned. Been many years since my last ink job.

I did see someone else during CFK that was riding the red train of Gemini with a MF tat that looked nice. I did not get chance to talk to him since I did not want to get off the train and lose laps. :)

Never said I disliked coaster tattoos, in fact, your chest piece is insanely awesome, Jerry. I just don't care enough to get coaster tattoos. If you asked me 10 years ago, I would have probably answered otherwise, but then again, I probably would hav wound up with various punk bands and a full sleeve of stuff I'd regret now. I'm glad I waited until I grew up and settled in to life until I started getting inked.

Now that's some love!!

I did forget to mention I have the MF logo on top of my CP logo on my shoulder---SOOOO regret that....only got it cause in '00 my guy said he'd do it for free when I got my other tatt done.

Luckelly for me not alot of people know its the MF logo :)

I want to get a coaster based arm wrap too-have the design in my head just need to get it down on paper for my tat guy :)
Tatts are addicting I swear they put crack in them to make you want more!

Hey Jerry-I've had someone told me my chest was awesome too
(but I have no tats there!! mwahahahahaha) :)
