Transformers The Movie In 2007

As an avid Trans Formers Fan, I thought I would let everyone know about the upcoming Dreamworks/PARAMOUNT film: Trans Formers: the Movie, opening nationwide on July 4, 2007.

A link for it is here: www.TransformersLive.com

The film, with details to follow, should follow the original story from the Generation 1 figures, but be different than the Movie that came out in 1986. (FYI)

Now you may ask me, what the hell does this have to do with coasters? We'll just let me tell you this....

Paramount is one of the picture companies, so I figured they could take my idea of having Two dueling coaster trains, speed through scenes, jump the track, Transform, and blow each other up.

So there! :)

Sounds like an exciting ride to me! :)

I've been keeping watch on this movie for a while now. It's about time.

Let's hope that Paramount figures out that Transformers could be a hugely succsessful Theme for their parks.

Awesome!
Possible coaster names:
Devistator, Omega Supreme (I actually used this one in RCT once), Ultra Magnus, Optimus Prime, Thundercracker, Shockwave (heh), Ravage, Starscream, Cliffjumper, Grimlock, Transformers: The Ride (like Dueling Dragons, but Autobots vs. Decepticons), Astro Train, Sky Fire, Rumble...
Man, this is too easy!
Autobots; let's roll out. :) Maybe in 2008, we'll get GI Joe! *** Edited 8/20/2005 2:01:09 AM UTC by Acoustic Viscosity***

Long live the Big Bad Wolf

How about Bumblee Bee for a mouse coaster?

I think I'll go stand in line for the movie now...I'll probably be about 6th or 7th in line.

I just got out my collection the other day. It was great to see my original Optimus and Megatron from when I was about 7 or so. People always tell me I should sell them, but there's no amount of money that would be worth it.

I still have my collection of nearly 200. I have most of the new series in the past few years in their boxes and on their cards. Some I'll open since I'll never sell them, and I'll buy the classic one ones already opened.

I picked up Megatron (the original Gun) for about $200 a few years ago on ebay (Inlcuding the box and all accessories).

Transformers would make a cool ride concept though, huh? An inverted design might work as well as an S&S/Arrow Hyper, or a similar ride system to that used on Italian Job.

Oh, don't worry. I'm sure that Paramount will sell the rights to the movie to someone else. That's what they do with any good movie franchise that they have produced.
