Actually they have built a lot of wooden coasters recently though this year is going to be slow.
I had to chuckle a little at the title of this thread. Since the oldest coaster in the world was built in 1902, the only coasters that aren't 20th century are the ones that are 21st century.
I don't care if it's made of toothpicks or bent coat hangers.

They both have their benifits and downsides. I really don't care as long as it provides me with a good thrill. I'd take a woodie over a steelie anyday though.
