Track Supports in RCT 2

hi, I'm new to coaster buzz...but i've been around on GTTP...I just wanted to know if anybody knows how the supports are going to be in RCT 2....will we have floating loops???...and straight poles that go up 250 ft....Or floating track??. I really would like to see more realistic supports. supports bring more realism to the game.

Well the game seems to have improved wood coaster supports, im not sure if you do it on your own or its done while the coaster is built.

Im the #1 Canobie Lake Park Fan!!!These are my top 3 coasters:
1. S:RoS @ SFNE 2. Yankee Cannonball 3. Cyclone/B:TDK

well it looks like the automatic-supports are not much improved except that they are only placed every 2 spaces now for more realism.

HOWEVER, stackable scenery will include square and angled support truss towers that can be used to replace or add the auto-supports. with this, we should be able to build any custom support structure we dream of.

to clear it up, here is "X" w/ auto supports only: http://www.chrissawyer.com/feature5_1.htm

and here is the same ride, with full custom supports (sorry bad quality): http://alternativegaming.net/feat/rct/2/screenshots1/x2.jpg

thats hot that you can make the supports....i also hope they have Intamin Impulse coaster supports....not just all that track up in the air.

yea (correct me if i'm wrong someone) as of yet we have not seen anything but the lattice-truss-boxish style things you see in the X screen.... and those appear to be useable (and quite good-looking) on both wood and steel coasters.

i'd really like it if we could have larger, angled, single tube supports like B&M... not that i'm unhappy w/ the truss style or anything :D

I don't think that you can actually stack scenery. I think it's that some scenery items can have supports and so you raise the land, put the scenery on, then lower the land, put the scenery on, and so on

I love roller coasters, and I need psychiatric help. Or a roller coaster.

if i'm correct, numerous reviewers who had tested the game at trade shows, etc. had all said that "stacking scenery is possible by holding the CTRL key" or something very specific to that effect.

in other words, it is possible

Your right JD. There's a video out somewhere that shows how you stack scenery. It looks easy. All you have to do is hold down ctrl and raise it up.

Stacking scenery is one of the main features of RCT2. Just hold down shift and whatever you're placing appears on top of anything already placed. Hold down shift and move the mouse, and you can place it *above* ground or *below* ground, etc.

I should have said

so there.
