Track spotted on 79 South in PA

I saw some purple track on a flat bed on 79 south headed towards Washington PA.  The track looked pretty bad.  Any thoughts were it came from?
Could you tell what company it came from?

Washington,PA is in Southwestern PA south of Pittsburgh. I-79 is the road to West (by God) Virginia.
Pittsburgh is on 79, but it could be going anywhere, it would really help if we knew what the track looked like.

It's probably track for Hersey's new coaster.

Heading south on I-79 toward Washington is nowhere near Hershey. It is not their coaster. Washington is about 20 mi. north of Wheeling,WV
so it was past pittsburgh, what did the track look like?

Parks accessible from 79-S past Washington:

Camden (not bloody likely), 6FA, BGW, Carowinds, pretty much anything in the mid- to south-eastern US, come to think of it.

I can only tell you one thing for sure:  it definitely isn't for Kennywood.

Yet what company would be north of 79?  ( I dunno, jusk asking.)Unless they shipped it down the Saint Lawrence to Buffalo.

Uhh guys???

Aren't you getting a little over excited about some vague rumor about a piece of track.  For all we know it could be for a crane.  I don't know how many countless times I've heard false rumors about Intamin box track being spotted.  I'd bet this is the same way, here in GA we have blue cranes, red cranes, and yellow cranes.  I wouldn't be surprised to see a purple one.

Speaking of that, back in May, I saw a couple simply humungous separate crane pieces being carried on like 3 long flat bed trucks. I was like, "That would be awesome if whoever is using that uses it for coaster construction." This thing was at least 10-15 feet by 10-15 feet.

but you can tel the difference between a peice of B&M track and a crane can't you?????  i've never seen this crane stuff so thats why i'm asking

It was not a crane.  I was driving right next to it and it is not a rumor.  They were four or five small pieces of track.  It was hard to tell how many pieces beacuse we were both doing 70 miles per hour.  It was coaster track and it did look older.  I don't think they would pile new track on top of each other but I may be wrong.  This was at 8am in the morning.  It was not B&M and it was Intamin box track.  The curved piece looked like Arrow track.  I saw this coming from Butler PA and he broke off south towards Washington, PA were I broke off and got on 279 South towards the Burgh.
Could be for the Wild Mouse at PKD. Who knows though? If it was used it may have been headed for a scrap yard.
If you were both doing 70mph, it'd actually be easier to see the "track," rather than one of you going faster than the other, but I digress...

The off season has barely begun and everybody's already got their panties in a bunch. I'm not saying anybody's wrong, but without proof, how do we know? As for where it's going, who knows. I-79 goes all the way to Charleston, with I-68E splitting off along the way. Like kpjb said, it could be going to any park in the southeast.

What happened to the old Steel Phantom track?  Could it be going to its final resting place?

Sounds like Pinfari track often used and transported by carnivals.
