Track spotted in Cincy

On Sunday I was driving east on I-275 (the loop around Cin) and passed a truck going NW and it was carring what looked like B&M coaster track. It was a red track with some blue support beams. Im sure it was just passing thru but wouldn't it be nice if it was heading up to PKI ?

If it had a white stripe running lengthwise along the spine then it was definitely track for Patriot,man CF just does such a good job selecting color schemes for their coasters don't they?

The striped track looks strange in pieces but I think that once it's completed it will have a nice effect.

Uh, the ride is called Patriot, what other colors would you have it? Duh.

Course, you do have SFI that paints everything Red and Blue, or Yellow and Blue...

Burnt orange? [wait for it....]

I don't know if the color would be THAT obvious, I mean, Cedar Fair did just paint a ride called Silver Bullet red and yellow. ;)

Yea, I never got the color scheme's tie in with the Silver Bullet name.

The track was definitely headed for WOF - thanks for the heads up that more is coming in tonight. :)

It can't be...that track is in Kansas City, Swoosh! SHEESH! ;)

Ok, the stupid person I am put the wrong link above. I have since fixed it. You might notice that we now have supports showing up (not I-beams - real ones) as well as the drive motor for the lift. That one piece alone proves this thing is an inverted.

That curvy piece of track looks like the first part of a loop (likely eliminating the flying option).

I will try and get up to WOF today and take some more pictures and Hopefully Swoosh may get some time today to post the new track pieces that come in :)

Yes Im pretty sure that was the same track. Oh well so much for wishfull thinking and hoping we would finally be blessed with a B & M ~

Now I think PKI is just trying to be the only major park without one! maybe they are thinking of opening a line of PKI Chiropractic centers??

I'd settle for someone selling match sticks at the end of SOB. Man if any coaster ever deserved to be torn down it's that thing. Think of what all they could build there instead *cough* B&M *cough*

Heck after riding SOB you need more then a chiropractor you need an MRI also to find the bleeding in your brain lol. SOB has to be the only ride on earth that will give adult riders shaken baby syndrome lol.

Anyways I just hope the WOF coaster looks alot better after it is constructed because right now I'm not at all feeling that color scheme.

I've actually taken to riding SOB just to GET my chiropractic adjustments from the damage Vortex is doing to me anymore!
